PLAN WELL, LIVE WELL, TRAVEL WELL

"Exploring the world is more fun in a group. I love to share my trips with clients and friends; there's more to learn and share that way! Everyone brings a little something to the experience."

" My bucket list just seems to grow and grow. Every time I cross a place off the list, I add at least three more!"

CUBA - March 2015

Shannon visits Cuba with friends and colleagues. Pictured below with a local farmer who gave the group a tour of his home and simplistic lifestyle.

She took clothes she no longer wears and left some in every hotel along the way.  At the end Shannon gave her guide her suitcase and the remaining clothes. She came home like a refugee with the clothes on her back and her hand carry!

ASPEN - February 2015

Shannon leaves Florida for the slopes of Aspen. A seasoned skier, Shannon stayed at the Snowmass Ski Resort with the Boca Raton Ski Club.

The best takeaway from the trip was a lovely lady from Boca who was 79 years old and still skiing with the men! The rumor was that she doesn't stop. She takes off at the top and stops at the bottom at the lift! Wow!! Looking forward to skiing with her next year!

DELBERT McCLINTON CRUISE ANTIGUA & ST. CROIX - January 2015

Shannon and clients/friends on Delbert McClinton's Sandy Beaches Cruise, a floating music festival in its 21st year. Though the ship stopped in Antigua and St. Croix, that didnt really matter. On Sandy Beaches, you come for the music.

The cruise features an amazing array of artists (including Raul Malo, pictured below), with blues, rhythm and blues, and New Orleans influences among the most common denominators. It was one rich performance after another.

Africa - August 2014

Trip to South Africa for a safari with a group of clients/friends.

Below, the South African guide Jeremy Poole who taught  them an incredible amount.

While on safari, the group got to experience the thrill of an up close encounter with a lion! See Shannon below, giving one of the "big kitties" a belly rub!

Vietnam/Cambodia - April 2013

In April of 2013 Shannon and a client traveled to Vietnam and Cambodia. The trip began in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. First stop was the crowning jewel of Khmer architecture, Angkor Wat pictured with Shannon below.

During the trip they traveled the whole distance of Vietnam from South to North, starting in Saigon then up to Danang, to Hanoi and Halong Bay.

Stopping at a local market Shannon found an array of local foods. Look closely at the trays of crickets, roaches, beetles, frogs, spiders and small birds. She stated "No, I did not try any of them! Though they were represented as being very crunchy and tasty!"
